Our Mission Statement

We exist to spread a passion for the supremacy of God in all things for the joy of all peoples through Jesus Christ. Magnifying the Glory of Jesus is the vision that drives our mission. That mission is driven by our desire to join God the Father in magnifying the supremacy of his glory through Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit. By grace through faith we aim to treasure all that God is; love all whom he loves; pray for all his purposes; meditate on all his Word; be sustained by all his grace.

You

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. 1 Peter 2:9

Us

Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit;and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord;and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone. 1 Corinthians 12: 4-6

Him

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen. 2 Peter 3:18

Church Covenant

Recognizing the importance of historic Baptist principles of freedom of conscience, we recommend the following church covenant to every man's conscience in the fear of God:

1. Having been led, as we believe, by the Spirit of God, to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our personal Savior, and on the confession of our faith having followed the Lord in waters of baptism, symbolizing His death, burial, and His resurrection, we do now in the presence of God the Holy Spirit, the angels of God, and this assembly most solemnly and joyfully enter into the covenant with one another as one body in Christ.

2. We engage, therefore, by the aid of the Holy Spirit, to walk together in Christian love; to strive for the advancement of the True Church in knowledge, purity of life, and Christian fellowship; to promote its spirituality and prosperity; to sustain its worship, ordinances, disciplines, and doctrines; to abide by the revealed Word of God in daily living; to contribute cheerfully and regularly to the support of the ministry, expenses of the house of worship, the relief of those in distress, and the spreading of the Gospel through all nations.

3. We also engage to maintain family and private devotions; to educate our children in the Christian faith; to seek the salvation of our kindred and acquaintances; to walk circumspectly in the world; to abstain from fleshly lusts which are against the soul; to abstain from all appearances of evil; to be just in our dealings, faithful in our engagements; to be exemplary in our deportment; to avoid unkind words and excessive anger; and to be zealous in our efforts to advance the good news of salvation through our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

4. We further engage to watch over one another in brotherly love; to remember each other in sickness and distress; to cultivate Christian sympathy in feeling and courtesy in speech; to be slow to take offense, but always ready for reconciliation and mindful of the words of our Savior to be reconciled without delay.

5. We also engage to reverence the House of Worship; not to be willfully absent from its services; and to prohibit everything that is worldly or that is done for the raising of money other than free-will offerings; to prohibit everything foreign to the praise and service of God.

6. We further engage that, upon removal from this place, we will, as soon as possible, diligently seek out some group of believers in whose fellowship we may carry out the spirit of this covenant, which we believe is according to the principles of the Word of God.

Loving The Lord. Loving People.

Come and worship with us!

We would love to have you join us on Sundays and Wednesdays as we seek to better understand our Lord Jesus Christ and learn how we can serve, encourage and love one another, just as he does. See you soon!
